I love settling back into home again after a spell away. Whilst there are some less than glamorous tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and other chores to catch up on, there is nothing like being back in your own bed, is there?
It feels like we are about to be busier than ever with careers taking new turns, the blog moving from strength to strength and the children growing a little more each day. Life is moving on whether we are ready for it or not.
Our 'work' calendar resets in September when we begin to think of the next twelve months ahead and focus on our goals and targets for the next year. It's an exciting time, so full of potential and growth. Part of me just can't believe summer is really coming to a close and the nights are already drawing in. I was hoping to get back on my 'running' this week but it seems as soon as I get the babies down to sleep in the evenings, it's already dark outside! What is with that?!
Whilst the weather may force us inside more than we would like, I hope to be able to delve into creative/homey projects and really celebrate the autumn/winter months in and around my home.
I must admit, it feels quite odd to both mourn the end of summer and welcome the oncoming autumn simultaneously.
