I definitely consider Mother's day to be up there with some of my favourite celebrations in the calendar. Even growing up and years before becoming a mummy myself, I always thought there was something really special about taking one day in the year to be reminded of our mothers, our grandmothers and all the women who have been a part of our lives and to be thankful for them.
And what better way to let your mum know how much you love her than by giving her a little pamper gift set of her own?

I was very kindly gifted the Terre de Lumiere L'Eau Luxury collection and I feel totally spoiled by the beautiful products inside!
One of these is a new take on their popular Terre de Lumiere fragrance. The original fragrance was inspired by the romantic golden hour at sunset in Province, whilst this newer version is inspired by first light in Province and the fresh air of daybreak. This is such a beautiful, delicate scent that blooms on the skin. The floral notes that include pink pepper, blackcurrant, pink peony and white musk evolve on the skin over time, eventually giving way to reveal their full effect like the unfolding dawn.
L'Occitane have curated a giftbox of products for Mother's day which sees the new Terre de Lumiere Eau de Toilette take center stage as you receive a full-sized version along with four other bath/skincare products all with the same, gorgeous fragrance.
I especially love the Terre de Lumiere L'Eau radiance balm- everything my hands have craved during winter. This is such a luxurious handbag-sized little pick-me-up which I have been wearing constantly since its arrival. It has the most gorgeous, light consistency which acts as a barrier to the cold. Everything from it's fragrance to the texture which immediately melts into the skin, is just beautiful- and so convenient too!
The other products in the gift set include a gentle shower gel, a body lotion and a soap bar, all exquisitely packaged and consistent with the same fragrance running right through the collection. I just think this would make such a perfect evening pamper session or morning skincare routine for anyone, It's definitely the kind of gift I would love to unbox on Mother's day myself!
