Yesterday was a special occasion for all the family as we joined together to celebrate our newest Niece, Joanna's Baptsim. It was a wonderful day as we made our way to the church where we met up with close family for an intimate celebration. It's always very moving to see a newborn Baptised into the church and to witness the promises her parents and God-parents undertake to raise her in the faith. Sometimes we can get lost along the way, but our Baptism reminds us of our roots and the privilege we have in our identity as God's Children.
After the Baptism ceremony, we all headed back to our holiday house for a buffet in the sunshine. It was especially lovely to see all the little ones playing together. I caught myself thinking on more than one occasion 'this is the life!'
