Happy feast of St. Nicholas everyone!
In line with the Dutch traditions, we celebrated last night by each leaving a shoe out for Sinterklaas to fill. As we don't have a fireplace, we popped ours under our 'Advent Tree', apparently this didn't bother Sinterklauss in the slightest as he was extremely generous this year- We must have been good!
When we woke up this morning, our shoes were overflowing with treats and little Noah was so excited to discover all the "choccy choccy's" in his boot.
I simply love this tradition and now that St Nicholas' day is here, I feel really in the spirit of Christmas- ready to keep the celebrations and festivities going!
