Today has been such a perfect day for us. We have had the pleasure of spending time with good friends, Noah has enjoyed a playdate with gorgeous little Benedict and our little home has been alive with the sound of laughter, the smell of baked scones and the taste of a wonderful meal! Eddy and I really appreciate spending our sundays relaxing with friends, especially as the week days are so hectic at the moment!
After we all said our goodbyes this evening, Eddy and I started tidying up the house and putting Noah to bed and in the process, we couldn't help but repeatedly say to each other what a good day it had been and how much we value our dear friends. I think gratefulness is a word that summarises today pretty well. This week has not been an easy one on different levels, but today has been a total joy!
