A couple of weeks ago I was kindly invited down to a Local photography studio to shoot some maternity photos. Lemon Sky Photography already specialise in newborn and family photography and are now branching out to do maternity shoots- a beautiful way to remember your pregnancy journey, I think!
They were kind enough to invite Eddy, Noah and myself to come along and have some family photographs taken too. I was really struck by how Lauren made us feel so at home and relaxed as soon as we walked in the door! Lauren was excellent with getting Noah to feel comfortable in a new environment and she delivered some beautiful family shots of us all together.
Being eight months pregnant at the time, I was a little apprehensive about being in a 'model' situation and representing a professional company at the same time. I know I certainly have my own insecurities with the way I look right now, but it seemed like Lauren could almost read my mind. She made me feel amazing and was able to really lift my confidence- it honestly felt much more like I was working with a best friend than a professional photographer!
Lemon Sky Photography are not only highly professional, but they clearly know how to work with families and especially young children who might not always want to comply. Noah certainly needed a bit of coaxing here and there...thank goodness for the on-hand snack bag!
